Bl. Solanus Casey

Solanus Casey was an American Capuchin friar known for his humility, simplicity, and healing charism. Born in Wisconsin in 1870, he spent most of his priestly ministry in New York and Detroit, where he served the poor and sick with great compassion. Casey died of a skin infection in 1957 and was beatified by Pope Francis in 2017.
